Our International Get Ready students have had an incredible time in Portugal, where they have done lots of activities and met new students from different nationalities!
The Get Ready Portugal Surf Camp is something we offer to our international students in Spain. It is a chance for them to get to know each other and visit a new place while they do lots of fun activities.
In this camp, you can find students from Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the US. They are all spending their programs in different areas in Spain and this trip has been the perfect opportunity to make international friends, enjoy surfing, trying Portuguese food and spending some nice days at the beach.
The camp consists of six days in which three of them include surfing, and two of them trips around Portugal. The meeting point for all students is Seville, where a private bus takes them to spend some wonderful days in Cascais, Portugal.
As the first day they arrive in the afternoon, students do not have much time to do many activities. However, from the second day on, fun doesn’t stop for a second! They have a very busy schedule ahead with multiple exciting activities.
There will be a variety of different events happening. Apart from surfing and visiting Sintra and Lisbon, an excursion to the cliffs of Boca do Inferno to see the sunset, and a visit to Cabo de Roca, which is the Westernmost point of the European continent, is organized.
After days full of amusement, on the last night, a BBQ with all students is prepared. It is the last chance to spend quality time all together before each one leaves to their respective exchange city, and a lovely last memory of the trip.
This camp is an opportunity for the students to make incredible friendships and create a special bond with others who are experiencing the same situation. As their exchange year in Spain is almost coming to an end, it is the best way to finish their exchange year on a high note. The camp provides a safe and welcoming space for the students to reminisce about their adventures, share their favorite memories, and support each other as they prepare to say goodbye to Spain.
This camp is not just an ending but a new beginning, as they carry with them the lessons learned, the laughter shared, and the friendships formed, into their bright futures ahead.
The Portugal Surf Camp is an amazing experience: lovely people and wonderful places which fill the soul. It is not only a trip, it’s an opportunity to meet new or see people again, have fun, discover a new culture and country. I definitely recommend it to everyone, probably one of the best adventures of my life.

This trip to Portugal has been one of the best of my life and I wish it could have been longer. During these five days I learned how to surf, I met a lot of new people and I bonded a lot more with people I already knew. I will never forget this trip, the nights spent talking about this and that with my friends, the surf lessons where I kept laughing and swallowing water, the bus rides listening and singing songs, the barbecue we had on the last day and all the beautiful moments I will take with me from this trip.

El Portugal Surf Camp es algo que ofrecemos a nuestros estudiantes internacionales en España. Es una oportunidad para que se conozcan y visiten un sitio nuevo mientras realizan muchas actividades divertidas.
En este campamento, puedes encontrar a estudiantes de Alemania, Australia, Canadá, Dinamarca, Estados Unidos, Francia, Finlandia, Italia, Japón, Noruega, República Checa, Suecia y Suiza, todos ellos haciendo su programa de Año Escolar en diferentes zonas de España. Este viaje ha sido la oportunidad perfecta para hacer amigos internacionales, disfrutar del surf, probar la comida portuguesa y pasar unos días increíbles en la playa.
El campamento consta de seis días en los que tres de ellos incluyen surf, y dos de ellos excursiones por Portugal. El punto de encuentro para todos los estudiantes es Sevilla, donde un autobús privado les llevará a pasar unos maravillosos días en Cascais, Portugal.
El primer día llegan a Portugal por la tarde, por lo que los estudiantes no tienen mucho tiempo para realizar muchas actividades. Eso sí, a partir del segundo día, ¡no paran ni un sólo segundo! Tienen una agenda muy apretada de actividades divertidísimas.
Además de surfear y visitar Sintra y Lisboa, se organiza una excursión a los acantilados de Boca do Inferno para ver la puesta de sol, y una visita al Cabo de Roca, que es el punto más occidental del continente europeo.
Después de días llenos de risas y aventuras, la última noche, se prepara una barbacoa de despedida con todos los estudiantes. Es la última oportunidad de pasar un buen rato todos juntos antes de que cada uno se marche a su respectiva ciudad de intercambio, y un bonito último recuerdo del viaje.
Este campamento es una oportunidad para que los estudiantes hagan amistades increíbles y creen un vínculo especial con otros que están pasando por la misma situación. Como su año de intercambio en España está llegando a su fin, ¿qué mejor manera de terminarlo que esta? El campamento proporciona un espacio seguro y acogedor para que los estudiantes rememoren sus aventuras, compartan sus recuerdos favoritos y se apoyen mutuamente mientras se preparan para despedirse de España.
Este campamento no es sólo un final, sino un nuevo comienzo, ya que llevarán siempre con ellos los aprendizajes, las risas compartidas y las amistades formadas, a su brillante futuro por delante.
